OIAM Band

Jordan and Joey were on Rogers Daytime Live with Jeff Moore this morning. This was the first public showing of their new music video ‘Count Me In’ by OIAM. They boys explained their involvement in and motivation behind the creation of the song and how they hope that kids are inspired to use their talents or passions to volunteer their time to help out too.

Count Me In by OIAM is available on iTunes for only 99cents. For every download, proceeds go to both Count Me In and Kids Help Phone. You can also pledge the band in the upcoming ‘Walk So Kids Can Talk’ national fund-raising event on May 6th. OIAM will be playing at the Mississauga location. All good things!

It has been an exciting couple of weeks! But FINALLY, our first single “Count Me In” is available  on iTunes and AmazonMP3. We have had an overwhelming response so far. It is only 99cents and the proceeds go to two great organizations:

• Count Me In (promoting volunteerism and community involvement among youth and inspiring the next generation of leaders)
• Kids Help Phone (improve the well-being of children and youth in Canada by providing them anonymous and confidential professional counseling, referrals and information through technologically based communications media)

We have decided to add ‘Kids Help Phone‘ to the beneficiaries of the profits from the sale of our ‘Count Me In’ single. We went on the subway downtown to their corporate offices on University Ave. We had the opportunity to meet with the director of national marketing and communications and the commuications manager. They heard the song for the first time and are excited to be a part of this initiative. The Count Me In Conference 2012 is a few days before the ‘Walk so Kids can Talk’ national fund raiser, so all together we hope to raise a lot of awareness.
